“Dear Ome,

Well Ome, I got a long letter from Beany yesterday addressed to me. I will bring it along so you can read it. I was so glad to get it.

I’m busy this week getting ready but I have such a terrible head cold so I feel terrible.

Mildred Larson is here now and Helen is coming Sat eve to stay while we’re gone. We will see you then Sat eve, we are going to Ward’s. They want you boys to stay there to.

With lots of love from us all,

Mother”
