Susan and Magnus on horse

“Dearest Ome,

I sent you a letter and press yesterday. Hope you got them. We just got our pictures we ordered so I’m sending some to you. We sent Beany his last week.

See you sent Beany his present. We will pay you whatever it is when you come home. I sent him a cake, birthday card, with a dollar in also for cigarettes so he was well thought of.

See you had a nice week end. Good boy that went to church. I wrote on some of the pictures were some of the pictures were taken.

My cold is much better now. The men are sitting drinking coffee. Just come home from work.

I’m sending you a picture that was taken in Mpls on the horse farm of “Susan Dad & Fred”.

Write soon and let us know if you are coming home Sat. I wrote 8 page letter to Milly today and sent her pictures.

I see you got your papers. Gosh I just get sick about all this. Hope you won’t have to go. I won’t know what to do if you will have to go to. But really I don’t think so with that hand of yours. Sonny Passer didn’t have to go either on account of his eye sight.

Well kid be good and write some.

Mom”
