Carolina Maneuvers

“Dear Jerry,

In answer to your card written at the dance. Tell Jean that her address is back at camp and I don’t remember it or her last name. Send it again in your next letter.

The temperature dropped to 30 degrees last night so I certainly dread our coming problem. Don Anderson is on this maneuver someplace near me so I may get to see him.

I just remembered the big storm we had up there last year on this day. Have you still got snow or has it melted? When you go home again ask Dad if there is a chance of getting me a pass for my furlough.

If you have any loose change I could stand some cigarettes, stamps, etc.
