Gas rationing in WWII

Gas rationing in WWII

“Jean and Jerome,

Well I wrote to Cliff and Vernon today, so I’ll drop you a line also. Rec’d your letter and see you plan on coming out. That will be nice.

We have enough gas coupons so you can fill your tank when you come out. I seen Toby about it. He is not supposed to do it, but you must not tell anyone.

Its pretty windy out here today. Hope we don’t get any more snow. I’m still taking Mildred to school. So she has it pretty soft. I fix her fires in the morning.

Nellie is also writing so I’ll close. Hoping to see you soon.

Dad”
