“Dear Jean & Jerry,

Just have time to write a card. I’m getting used to this new country and I’m tan as a Sioux Indian already. Thanks for the pictures- it seemed just like I was there when I seen them.

I’m busy drilling, washing clothes, etc. We have outdoor movies but that’s all. I think I’ll be a hermit when I get out of here. I’ll try to take some pictures.
