“Dear Jerry & Jean,
Milly and I were up to Dad and he had some pains so the nurse was going to give him an injection. Susan was so fussy I had to take her home. Milly is going to stay till about 10 oclock then I’m going up and maybe stay all nite, or till 1 oclock anyhow. He wanted one of us to stay. If he sleeps and is alright I’ll go home then.
I hope you got home O.K. Hope we will see the boys soon. If Cliff comes have him call us so we can meet him.
I’ll drop you a card each day. Dont worry. We hope Dad will be alright soon. He told us about you shaving him. If Beany comes have him call us to please.
