“Dear Kids,
We are at Dr. Bergh’s at Monte- waiting for Dad to come out. He is so busy I don’t see how he will be able to give Dad a thorough examination but at least we’ll get his opinion. Dad has been having more X-rays by Kaufman but until this morning nothing showed up. I’m supposed to go in to see them this afternoon.
Say, Jerry, will you look at suits for Dad- brown, size 40, and if you find a nice one let me know the price? I’ll send you a money order and you can bring it out with you when you come. I’m going to give it to him for Father’s Day- If you boys would like to give him something, he could stand a pair of shoes to match!! (Size 9 1/2-wide-brown).
