“Dear Kids,
I’ve been having a grand time but have had a cold so that’s not so pleasant. Dolores was home for dinner last night- looked very nice in her new white uniform.
Tomorrow we’re going to Chicago to shop, have dinner and see a play. I’ll be coming back Fri. night on the ’400′ which gets into St. Paul around 9 o’clock. Sure would appreciate a lift if you can make it. I have something for you!!
