“Dear Jean & Jerry,
Received your cute card, Jean- also your letter and Jerry’s V-mail of the 13th. We’ve had very good mail service out here. I don’t hear from Beany very often- I guess he doesn’t have much time to write.
Today is Sunday so I plan to go to the beach this afternoon- I’ve spent a lot of time in the sun so I have a good tan. This tropical sun is very hot.
I sent Mom an article taken from a magazine describing these islands- it’s quite interesting. I’ll send you a copy if you want one. I’ll be looking for those pictures soon.
I hope to be doing X-ray work soon- I’ll be working in the Dental Clinic. Thanks for your card and letter, Jean- write again soon. Greet your family from me.
