“Hello Jean & Jerry,

I’ve been looking for your letter again the past couple of days- I guess the mail is delayed. Sometimes it is heavy and then it is very light. I wrote Beany today but no word from him since his letter of Jan. 30th.

I am working in Dental X-ray now and I like it very well. I’ve been going to the movies quite often- I haven’t been going to the beach much lately. Last Sunday I tried my luck at fishing and caught just one. I’m going again soon and hope to do better.

Your package to me should get here soon. I’m expecting candy and cigars from Mom soon, too. Have you heard anymore from your draft board, Jerry? I don’t think you’ll be called but there are many men being reclassified. Write often.

Love, Cliff”
