February 8

South Pacific Calendar 1944

“Dear Jean & Jerry,

Your latest letter is the V-mail of March 16th which came a couple of days ago. I received some more papers, a Reader’s Digest, air-mail letters from Mom & Milly, a V-mail from Beany dated Feb. 25th and the cigars that Mom sent me. I wonder if some of my  mail to you has been lost- I wrote you saying that I received your package, and the pictures came quite some time ago. Thanks for everything.

I sent a coconut to you and one to Inga. It should reach you soon- Mom & Milly have one yet that they received from Lorne but I will send them another if they want it. Today is cloudy and rainy so it is fairly cool- it gets very warm when the sun shines.

Write as often as you can- I certainly appreciate and enjoy your letters. I am feeling fine.

Love, Cliff”
