“Dear Jean & Jerry,
Your V-mail of March 22nd came last night. Also received two letters from Mom. Beany’s last V-mail came in very good time-it was postmarked April 6th. It was typewritten and so it was quite long. He talked of going to Belfast for a few days furlough. I sure hope he gets the chance.
We don’t take any pictures here now but I hope to have some before I come back to the States. Do you have trouble buying film now- it was scarce the last few months that I was at Camp Carson.
I see that you’ve been having nice working hours lately, Jerry. I’ll bet you appreciate having a cook, eh, Jean?
This is Sat. afternoon- I finished work a little early and I’m trying to catch up on my letter writing. I’m going to a movie tonight. Did you receive my Easter greeting?
Love, Cliff”
