Soldiers Playing Bingo
“Dear J. & J.,
This is Sunday eve. Its been a grand day here. We went out for a ride and then Lorne took us to the Officers Club for supper. The folks danced a couple of times then Lorne took Susan home and Milly & I stayed and played Bingo. Milly won 90¢.
We took pictures of the house today. Will send you some soon as we can get them developed. Milly and I walked around the house today and discovered a bed of violets under some dead leaves and they were blossoming.
I washed my hair yesterday and sat on the porch and dried it. Sure is wonderful. Only wished you kids were here.
We are thru cleaning. Sure done some hard work.
I sent you Beany dears letters. Be sure to send them back to me. Am glad Jean your brother is coming home. Greet him from us all. I got a letter from Dolores. I have gotten so much mail.
Sniffy is fine. He enjoys laying outside in the sun.
