“Dearest Kids,

I wont be home till Sat eve as Sue got sick Friday a.m. with a cold and swollen glands. Shes had 104 fever but today she feels good again. I want to stay till I see her run around again so Ill leave here Fri morning and the train I think comes in to Mpls at 7 in the evening Saturday.

I may can send Jean a wire from Chicago Sat morning. It will be nice seeing you again.

I had a long letter from Beany today. Hes fine and has gotten 88 letters back mail. Sue is writing a letter to you now. See Dolores is home. Ill call her Sat if I get time to. The train from here gets to Chicago 8:30 Sat. If you dont come to the depot Ill call you from Inga’s. See you soon.
