“Dear Jerry,
Here’s a prescription for my glasses. I have one pair of GI ones but they aren’t very attractive looking and the nose pinchers bother me too much. I would like to have you take this to a reliable oculist or firm and have them make me two pair. One pair of regular glasses with a shell frame. Let them be the judge as to the color of frame that is most suitable for a man.
The other pair I want is sunglasses (also a shell frame), but ground according to the prescription. Let me know what both pair cost and I will have Milly send you the money.
I would appreciate this and try to get it done as soon as possible.
