“Dear Jean and Jerry,

I am settled now in my new place and as yet I haven’t been given my assignment. It is a rather large place- our quarters are nice and the food is excellent. It is rather stunning to come out of the front lines and start living like this again. There is plenty of manpower available and you can find any type of tradesman available. So we have access to free tailoring, barber, etc.
